OneNote Integration

Microsoft OneNote is a very popular note taking application (we love it too). Here you will learn how to integrate OneNote with FusionDesk.

FusionDesk to OneNote

You can easily and quickly put a link in OneNote pointing to a task you have created in FusionDesk. Just follow these steps:

  • Right click on a task in FusionDesk. Select 'Copy Task Link'.
  • Open OneNote. Select the section and page you want.
  • Right click inside the page and select 'Hyperlink' from the menu.
  • A window appears. Paste the link in the 'Address' field.
  • Optionally fill the field 'Text to display' and click OK.

OneNote to FusionDesk

Each task in FusionDesk can have an attachment. You can then open these attachments with a press of a key or a click of a button. Here is how you can attach a OneNote paragraph to a task in FusionDesk:

  • Right click on a paragraph in OneNote.
  • Select 'Copy Hyperlink to this Paragraph'.
  • Go to FusionDesk and select a task.
  • On the details tab click the attachment text and select 'Paste from Clipboard'.
