Bug Fix: High CPU usage bug finally fixed. The problem was with our protection system

Bug Fix: Due Date & Tags sort were messed up. Fixed.

Bug Fix: Text search didn’t always work

Bug Fix: Renaming or deleting a ‘No Folder’ is now impossible, produced an error

Bug Fix: Thread problem fixed?!?

Bug Fix: Trying to reorder tasks when none were selected resulted in an error

Future Plans

March 19th, 2007

I guess many are interested in what lies ahead for FusionDesk.

First let me explain how our version system works. The current version of FusionDesk is 1.1.2.

First is the major version number. In order to progress to version 2.0 major improvements will be made to justify the numbering.

Since the first version of FusionDesk was 1.0, version 1.1 means that we already have a newer minor version. In each such version there will be new features. In version 1.1 they were manual sort and ‘USB drive deployment’.

The third number, means revision. Version 1.1.2 means that there were two small updates after version 1.1.0. If only the last number is increased, this means only bug fixes are present in the new release.

So what’s next? Version 1.2.0 should be out in about a month. We plan to add a feature to edit the properties of multiple tasks at once, you just select them and edit the task pane. Even better Vista support is coming, thanks to the release of Delphi 2007, our development tool. A Hipster PDA report is coming either in 1.2 or in 1.3 version.

What do you want to see in future versions of FusionDesk? We want to hear your ideas!

FusionDesk 1.1 Released

March 12th, 2007

FusionDesk 1.1.0 is finished and you can download it now.

There are two important new features, plus other improvements and critical bug fixes.

The first feature is that now FusionDesk supports manual sort, you decide which task is first, which is second etc. You can reorder the tasks by dragging and dropping or by moving them up and down with Ctrl + Up Arrow and Ctrl + Down Arrow. This feature is available in the Pro version only

The second feature is that FusionDesk now runs from a USB drive just fine. In the Pro version there is even a button in the Share tab of the ribbon called ‘Deploy to USB’ to make this a one click process. If you run the Sarter edition, this feature will work but you need to manually copy all the program files and application’s data files.

Predominantly Positive Feedback
